Rooted in Gratitude: Celebrating Community Connections

In the season of gratitude, we are reminded how deeply thankful we are for the community that surrounds and supports our locally-owned yoga business. Our growth, joy, and sense of purpose come not only from our clients but also from the incredible local partnerships that continue to inspire and strengthen us.

Community collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We bring our practice beyond the studio—into breweries, event spaces, corporate settings, and backyards across Raleigh and the surrounding areas. Each partnership allows us to create offerings that feel fresh, intentional, and deeply connected to the local businesses that make our community thrive.

It’s also a reminder of why it matters to shop and support local, even when it comes to your practice. Choosing locally-owned yoga businesses and instructors over large national studios keeps creativity, connection, and care right here at home.

Beyond the Studio

This year, we’ve been honored to collaborate with several amazing local partners.

Raven Ridge

This September, our locally-owned yoga business partnered with Stanley Martin Homes to host a rooftop class at their new condos in Raven Ridge. This was a rare opportunity to practice high above the city in North Raleigh. After class, participants toured the properties, connecting movement and mindfulness with modern living in an inspiring new space.

Blackbird Brewery

Taproom yoga continues to be one of our favorite ways to blend mindfulness with community connection. Practicing in a relaxed, welcoming environment like Blackbird Brewery’s taproom invites both seasoned yogis and first-timers to enjoy movement in a fun, approachable way.

Whitaker & Atlantic

This beautiful Raleigh event space has become a home for several of our special offerings, including Strings and Stillness on November 19th, a candlelight class accompanied by live cello, and Urban Edge Flow on December 6th, a yoga and mimosas event that combines mindful movement with community connection afterward. These collaborations highlight local artistry and hospitality while giving guests a fresh way to experience yoga in the city.

Lifting Each Other Up

Each of these partnerships reflects what we value most—authentic connection, creativity, and shared growth. By collaborating with others, our locally-owned yoga business is able to reach new people, bring yoga into unexpected places, and help one another grow.

As we reflect this Thanksgiving, our gratitude extends far beyond the mat. We are thankful for every person who chooses to shop local and flow with us, and for every business that opens its doors to collaborate and create something meaningful together. These relationships remind us that when we support one another, the entire community flourishes.

From all of us at Unita Yoga, thank you for being part of our journey—and for continuing to shop, support, and move local with us.
