Expand Your Practice: New Yoga Styles Coming to Unita Yoga

At Unita Yoga, we’re dedicated to providing practices that foster balance, mindfulness, and personal growth. This year, we’re excited to introduce new styles of yoga in Raleigh to our schedule: please welcome Slow Flow to Yin, Yin, Gentle Flow, and Yoga Nidra to the schedule!

Each session will feature a unique format designed to enrich your yoga journey and deepen your practice.

What’s on the Schedule?

In addition to our Back Porch Yoga (vinyasa flow) on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, mark your calendars for these varying sessions, all starting at 6:00 PM:

March 19: Slow Flow to Yin

Ease into this practice with a gentle, flowing sequence to warm your body and connect with your breath. Transition into yin poses for deep release and relaxation, striking a perfect balance between movement and stillness.

April 16: Gentle Flow

Prioritize self-care and relaxation with a slower-paced practice with mindful transitions and gentle variations. This gentle practice is ideal for all ages, levels of experience and stages of injury recovery.

May 7: Yin Yoga

Dive into a meditative practice focusing on seated and reclined poses held for several minutes. Yin yoga targets the body’s connective tissues, improving flexibility and fostering a sense of calm and introspection.

June 4: Yoga Nidra

Experience profound rest with Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep. This guided meditation practice takes you to a state between wakefulness and sleep, encouraging deep relaxation, stress relief, and renewal.

Back Porch Yoga Continues!

Don’t forget, our beloved Back Porch Yoga will still take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. In March, join us on March 12th and 26th at 6:00 PM! The weather can be a bit unpredictable this time of year, so class will be held either in the backyard oasis OR the bonus room studio upstairs. Stay tuned to weekly text messages for location updates.
